NGC 891 - The "Outer Limits " galaxy
NGC 891 is an edge-on galaxy in the constellation of Andromeda. The location of the galaxy is about 3 and a half degrees to the East-Northeast of the star Gamma Andromedae. Further towards the east, and visible in the image below, is a cluster of galaxies called Abel 347.
This photograph was taken using a Nikon D7200 set at ISO 800 and a six-inch F-5 reflector. The resultant image is a stack of eight five-minute exposures:
