After the aurora had died down, my wife and I went home. After returning home from picking up our teens at their activities, I went outside and looked north. There was a hint of activity but nothing significant was occurring. I figured all was over and went inside to get ready for sleep. Just before 1AM, I decided to take one last look and saw that the aurora had "fired" back up and arcs/rays were again visible. This lasted for about a half-hour and then died back down but not before I got some pictures.
Shifting rays above the big dipper.
