The Moon

The moon is the first thing anybody looks at because it has a wealth of detail and some interesting features that can be resolved even with small telescopes. Additionally, the moon can be eclipsed or can eclipse celestial objects. This is called an occultation. Below is some imagery of the moon that includes eclipses and occultations.
